QC Lab Technician - Cosmetics

Job Title : QC Lab Technician - CosmeticsJob Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable QC Laboratory Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in laboratory practices and a proactive approach to maintaining testing standards and equipment calibration.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality control testing of raw materials, in-process, bulk, and finished product samples.

Record and manage third-party lab results related to product testing.

Calibrate in-house laboratory instruments and facility-wide scales.

Support other operational tasks as needed outside of core responsibilities.

Essential Skills

Prior laboratory experience.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to perform complex calculations.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate degree (2-year) in Biology or Chemistry.

Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Bilingual candidates are a plus, but not required.

Math proficiency will be assessed via a skills test.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM. The work involves handling laboratory equipment and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The position requires adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Deerfield Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr.
