As a Radiology Technologist at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions using advanced imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, according to established protocols and physician orders
  • Position patients and utilize appropriate radiation safety measures to ensure accurate and high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
  • Maintain all imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
  • Educate and reassure patients about the imaging procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology technology and participate in continuing education program

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in radiology technology or a related field
  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure as a Radiology Technologist
  • Proven experience working in a radiology department or medical imaging center
  • Excellent knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other imaging software
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety

Location : Kansas City, KS

Class / Area : Radiologic Technologist (Pain Management)

Pay Rate : $2,320 - $2,490 weekly

Desired Start Date : ASAP

Length of Assignment : 14 weeks

Hours per Week : 40

Shift and Time : 10.5hr Days; Tue-Fri 0700-1730

Weekend Rotation : None

On-call Requirements : None

Holidays Requirements : None

Floating Requirements : None

Experience Required : Orthopedic experience; AGFA and Siemens experience preferred Minimum two years radiology experience, Level I experience, travel experience

License Required : ARRT, KS license

Certificate Required : BLS
