As a Radiology Technologist at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions using advanced imaging equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, according to established protocols and physician orders
- Position patients and utilize appropriate radiation safety measures to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
- Maintain all imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
- Educate and reassure patients about the imaging procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology technology and participate in continuing education program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in radiology technology or a related field
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure as a Radiology Technologist
- Proven experience working in a radiology department or medical imaging center
- Excellent knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other imaging software
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety

Pay Rate : $2,320 - $2,490 weekly

Length of Assignment : 14 weeks
Hours per Week : 40
Shift and Time : 10.5hr Days; Tue-Fri 0700-1730
Weekend Rotation : None

Floating Requirements : None
Experience Required : Orthopedic experience; AGFA and Siemens experience preferred Minimum two years radiology experience, Level I experience, travel experience
License Required : ARRT, KS license
Certificate Required : BLS
