Toms Carpentry is looking for a Residential Construction Foreman, to lead a team through a wide variety of residential construction projects.

The Residential Construction Foreman is the team leader who organizes and runs the daily field operations at Tom's Carpentry. The Foreman is accountable for the actions of each team member and must make sure the promises of Tom's Carpentry are carried out and the projects stay on schedule. Foreman is the most important role in the field and we need to hire someone who shares our vision for a safe, positive, and productive job site. Tom's Carpentry strives to set ourselves apart from our competition by delivering a superior project to our customer both in quality of the build and great customer service. The Foreman will be leader of a four man team. The other team members include two specialists and one general laborer. The specialists and general laborer will carry out tasks appointed by the foreman.

The daily duties for the Foreman will primarily be to organize, and lead their team to successfully complete the tasks given by the project manager.

Other daily tasks :

• Communicate daily with project manager
• Delegate tasks to self and team
• Maintain clean Job site and trailer
• Accurate time tracking and reporting
• Keep track of receipts and get them to project manager
• Accountable for the quality and accuracy of all team members work
• Assist in installation of a variety of building materials
• Operate a variety of lift equipment
• Move trailers and equipment from site to site

Above all else we require a foreman who has the ability to communicate and lead effectively.
