Executive Director, Enterprise Planning & Portfolio Capability Delivery

This position is on-site 4 days per week with 1 day from home. While Warren NJ is an option this role must be in Tarrytown NY weekly with potentially multiple days in the Tarrytown NY office.

The Executive Director of Enterprise Planning & Portfolio Management at Regeneron will lead a transformative multiyear initiative to establish best-in-class enterprise planning capabilities across the organization . Partnering with cross-functional teams and senior Leadership this role is pivotal in driving operational excellence data transparency and strategic decision-making across the drug development lifecycle.

The position oversees governance optimization and integration of planning platforms and processes spanning R&D Manufacturing Commercial and supporting functions ensuring alignment with Regenerons mission to deliver life-changing medicines.

This strategic hire will lead a high-impact program involving hundreds of stakeholders and multiple workstreams with the goal of delivering scalable solutions that redefine enterprise planning standards and capabilities. The Executive Director will also build and manage a dedicated team ensuring the long-term sustainability of Regenerons planning and portfolio management infrastructure.

In a typical day you will :

D efine and execute the strategic vision for enterprise planning and portfolio management ensuring alignment with Regeneron s corporate objectives and long-term growth strategy.

Lead a multiyear transformation initiative to evaluate and optimize planning processes systems and roles across R&D Manufacturing Commercial and other supporting functions.

Partner with senior sponsors and executive leadership to drive enterprise-wide initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Serve as the business owner for the enterprise planning platform ( Planisware or equivalent ) overseeing roadmap development system configuration data governance and integration with financial and analytics systems.

L ead s platform roadmap development implementations upgrades vendor management and license administration in partnership with GD-IT .

Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor adherence performance and the impact of planning capabilities on organizational goals.

Oversee the implementation and scaling of new enterprise capabilities including decommissioning legacy systems and integrating advanced solutions

Lead process optimization efforts including scenario modeling capacity planning milestone tracking enterprise reporting and resource forecasting.

Collaborate with strategic partners to deliver operating model redesigns analytics enhancements and change management initiatives.

Ensure program scalability and sustainability through robust training programs stakeholder engagement and data migration strategies.

Establish and lead governance forums steering committees and change control boards to ensure cross-divisional alignment and adherence to updated SOPs.

Drive process standardization and training by overseeing the creation and continuous improvement of process documentation and training materials to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives and operational excellence.

Enable visibility into pipeline health risk and value through integrated dashboards and analytics in partnership w ith Data Analytics and functional areas .

Drive harmonization of portfolio data standards and reporting in partnership with R&D Manufacturing Commercial SG&A functions and Data Governance.

Drive the harmonization of data standards reporting frameworks and analytics across functional areas enabling visibility into pipeline health resource utilization and portfolio value.

Align process design with system capabilities and business goals.

To be considered you must posess :

BS / BA Degree advanced degree preferred and a m inimum 17 years of relevant years of experience in project management and program planning enterprise systems portfolio management or process transformation leadership within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Deep expertise in drug development lifecycle and cross-functional planning CPM / PMP or similar certifications preferred .

Hands-on experience with information technology ecosystems including PPM platforms.

Demonstrated success in large scale transformation PMO leadership and use of process transformation tools e.g. L ean Six Sigma .

Strong leadership stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities.

Proven ability to translate strategic goals into operational systems processes and teams .

Strong people management skills with proven a bility to identify build talent and lead through uncertainty.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with all levels in the organ ization across the enterprise including the C-suite.
