In House Labor & Employment Counsel
National company is expanding and seeking a Labor & Employment attorney with 5+ years’ experience to join its legal team in its Tampa Bay area headquarters.
This labor & employment attorney will have hands-on experience in handling employment matters from start to finish, including workplace investigations, wrongful termination, EEOC, discrimination and wage and hour matters.
Company provides work life balance with the ability to work remote and to come into the office once a week as well as a base salary up to $200,000 plus benefits and bonus.

- respond to highly sensitive employee relations claims, demand letters, and other issues and conduct investigations related to employment matters.
- handle employment-related support on transactional matters including ERISA, contract drafting and negotiation, acquisition-related advice, and review of compensation and benefits plans.
- training and education on labor and employment law topics, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Member of the FL Bar.
- 5+ years of experience practicing labor and employment law, with in-house law department and / or law firm experience, preferably supporting employees across multi-state locations.
