A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Facilities Technician

Position Type : Full time Contract, Contract to Hire

Duration : 6- 12 months

Location : Amityville, NY 11701

As a Facilities Technician you will,

• Be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facilitys structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Perform trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
• Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Have knowledge of applicable standards or regulations, and may require specific trade certifications.
• Work to achieve operational targets within job area which has moderate impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of moderate scope, typically on larger, task-related activities.
