Job Description
The Safety Officer - Wastewater - Greater Boston will be responsible for : \n
\n
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, local, and federal regulations
\n
Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.\n
Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.\n
Conduct and coordinate safety training programs, toolbox talks, and new employee safety orientations.\n
Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure availability of safety gear.\n
Maintain all safety documentation and records, including incident logs, inspection reports, and training records.\n
Collaborate with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to promote safe practices.\n
Act as the on-site point of contact for all health and safety concerns or emergencies.\n
Stay current with new safety regulations and industry trends.\n \n

The Safety Officer - Wastewater - Greater Boston should have : \n
\n
3+ years operating in a construction safety position\n
Experience working locally around Boston preferred\n
Ability to lead safety meetings and influence a safety-first culture\n
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment\n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n
Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety management software / tools\n \n \n
