AK Machining is seeking experienced and reliable CNC Machinists to join our production team. We provide specialized, low-volume manufacturing services for the aerospace, medical, and theme park industries. We machine high-precision, reliable components that consistently meet the highest industry standards and satisfy our customers' complex needs. We are hiring CNC Machinists for both our Milling and Turning (Lathe) departments. Job Summary The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming at the machine, setting up and operating CNC Machines to produce precision machined parts. You will work from blueprints and specifications to ensure parts meet exacting quality standards in a fast-paced, job shop environment. Mill Machinist will program using G-code at the machine, set up, and operate Haas controls. Lathe Machinist will program, set up and operate Mazak Lathe. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and G-code. Adjust machine settings for feeds, speeds, and tool offsets to optimize production. Inspect and verify parts for tight tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Required Experience and Skills Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or job shop environment. Must be proficient writing G-code programs at the machine Ability to inspect own work, troubleshoot and hold close tolerances Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Standard Shift Monday-Friday 6am-2 : 30pm Flexible Hours and Overtime Available Salary based on experience and skill level
