The Harpeth Hotel in historic downtown Franklin is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join our team in providing a quality stay for our guests! This is an hourly position with a flexible full-time schedule averaging 32 hours weekly. Our Accounting Coordinator will work with the Director of Finance on financing duties such as balancing accounts, assisting with guest billing inquiries, working on M3 invoices, and additional tasks. Shifts are available with flexibility Monday through Friday. We offer medical, dental, vision benefits and more for full-time team members.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTING JOB EXPECTATIONS :
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent experience. College degree preferred.
Experience : Six to twelve months of employment in a related position or office setting with this company or other organizations. Accounting or hospitality experience a bonus.
Skills and Abilities : Requires having excellent computer and cash handling skills, ability to stand for extended periods of time; present a sociable, outgoing, lively and guest service-oriented demeanor. Ability to adapt to changing guest needs. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job. Good judgment and ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests. Ability to learn and use accounting programs as needed. Comfortable with handling accounting tasks when DOF is out of office.
