About the Role

The award-winning Fortune Brand Studio (FBS) is seeking a Director, Design with extensive expertise in digital design and branded content. This person will help shape the studio's creative output, elevate the Fortune brand, and inspire the design team to deliver high-quality, award-winning work for a variety of global advertising partners and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Design, this key team leader will play a prominent role in shaping and advancing the studio's creative vision, working closely with our Sales, Marketing, Editorial, and Video production teams as well as our clients, to execute a multitude of projects with overlapping deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Drawing on vast expertise in digital design, branded content, and video, the Director, Design will deliver work that sets the standard for excellence and inspires the team to elevate the quality of every project. By contributing innovative ideas, refining visual storytelling, and raising the bar on creative execution, you will help ensure the studio produces content that not only meets strategic objectives but also achieves industry recognition and impact.

We are looking for a nimble, resourceful, client-facing creative leader with a strong sense of ownership and independent thinking who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary, month-to-month role, starting immediately.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-level creative work across digital design, branded content, and video
• Develop and maintain a cohesive visual language across all touchpoints
• Create compelling, high-quality design work across platforms
• Manage the design team and stakeholders to ensure visual output meets studio standards and objectives
• Stay ahead of industry trends to inform and elevate design work
• Inspire the team to deliver more award-winning campaigns and content
• Identify opportunities to tell diverse stories from diverse perspectives

Requirements

Total Compensation Ranges : $160,000- 190,000
