The Director, Brand Design role will be responsible for driving innovation in design across multiple brands and categories. This leadership role is responsible for managing internal teams and external vendors from initial design concepts to production.

How will you create impact?

• Prepare and present brand ideas and vision to leaders and peers
• Blue sky development of new opportunities and white spaces
• Based on strategic direction from Brand partners, work to develop mood boards, color pallets, iconography, type and logo development
• Mentor and coach Brand Design teams
• Evolve existing brands to market needs
• Develop and deploy Brand Briefs
• Work to manage Packaging Briefs on individual items
• Create tight cross functional internal partnerships
• Present ideas and concepts to executive team
• Create Brand style guides
• Develop marketing support materials, creative boards and layout presentations for new and existing business development presentations and trade shows
• Develop digital marketing assets where required
• Collaborate with Structural Engineering, Marketing, Quality Control and Product Development teams as well as overseas agents, as necessary, in the package development and approval process
• Maintain knowledge of new technologies within your area of expertise

What are your skills and experience?

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New?York City is $160,000 to $180,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
