As a patrol unarmed security professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a highly visible presence. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating vehicles as part of your patrol duties.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $26.70 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day : Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or address security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related issues as they arise.
  • Support access control protocols by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • EMT certification is required.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
