GIS Residential Construction is now hiring general laborers. GIS is looking for motivated individuals with valid driver's license, hand tools and good attitudes.
Candidates must have their own transportation to job sites.
Short job description :
- This is an entry level position with opportunity to learn more
- Gloves and strong back to lift heavy materials required
- Owning hand tools is preferred
- All job sites are fast paced with demanding superintendents and project managers
- Move materials
- Stack tile
- Clean up garbage
- Job sites may require to work outside in rain or shine conditions
- Must have recent experience in Construction as a laborer
- Ability to understand and follow specific oral instructions
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods
- Maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
- Operate motor vehicles
- Remove trees and debris
- Assist site superintendents
- Install traffic control devices
- Dig trenches
- Pour concrete and asphalt onto roads
- Remove hazardous materials
