Job Responsibilities As a Retail Loss Prevention Dock Guard, you will perform loss prevention as part of the retail operations team. You will be responsible for guarding, patrolling, and monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Additional responsibilities of the Retail Loss Prevention Dock Guard include :

• Provide the necessary support for customer service and customer pick up procedures
• Control losses and reduce shrinkage through policy enforcement
• Enforce customer pick-up procedures
• Conduct store opening and closing procedures
• Perform coworker and safety audits
• Check merchandise transfers
• Store perimeter checks
• Trailer checks
• Monitor alarms
• Control security sensitive items
