What You'll Do

As an Accounting Technician, you'll be an integral part of the Administrative Services Department. You'll take on responsibilities like :

• Reviewing and processing invoices for city expenditures.
• Preparing and organizing checks for review and approval.
• Reconciling daily deposits for accuracy and addressing miscoded entries.
• Monitoring petty cash accounts.
• Managing accounts receivable in collaboration with city departments.
• Preparing 1099s for vendors.
• Preparing annual reports for external agencies.
• Assisting with payroll as part of cross-training with the Accountant position.
