Job descriptionProcess and code A / P invoices; verify approvals, GL accounts, and departments / projects. Prepare and post A / R billings; apply cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts. Maintain cost allocation models using Excel tools (e.g., by customer, department, or cost center) and record allocation journals. Assist with reconciling balance-sheet accounts (A / R, A / P, accruals, prepaid, intercompany) and resolve variances. Assist with month-end close : journal entries, accruals, schedules, and flux analyses. Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify and implement process improvements and internal control enhancements. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2–4 years of accounting experience with hands-on A / R and A / P responsibilities. Working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close practices. Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets and an ERP / AP automation tool (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks + Stampli or other AP tools). Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management; excellent communication skills. Experience with cost allocation methodologies and project accounting. Prior experience in a high-growth or multi-entity environment. On-time invoice processing & collections targets Accurate coding and allocations with minimal rework

Role Summary
The Staff Accountant / Accounting Analyst supports day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on Accounts Receivable (A / R), Accounts Payable (A / P) coding, and cost allocation. This role ensures timely, accurate transaction processing and assists with month-end close and other general accounting tasks.
