Job Duties

This role is per diem, variable hours, 12-hour shift at Geisinger Viewmont Imaging.

• One year of acute care RN work experience is required and RN critical care experience is preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS is preferred at time of hire and required after hire

Position Details

Responsible for all aspects of Radiology nursing; including assessment, evaluation, and coordination of nursing care. The Registered Nurse is responsible for performing patient assessment, patient and family teaching and triage. Provides primary clinical support to the provider and patient to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient's condition. Follows up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity and care.

Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)

Experience

Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
