We have a position for an experienced HIL test engineer to work on systems verification and validation tests, documenting and analyzing the results on embedded software controls.

Job Location : Local to Columbus, IN area and capable to travel into building depending on project needs, approximately - days in the office weekly.

What you will be doing :

• Developing manual test plans, executing, documenting, etc...
• NI TestStand automated scripts
• Hardware-in the loop bench testing of controls systems
• Technical requirements gathering, design profile development, DVPR development / execution / administration

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas :

• Engine HIL test
• Electronics OR controls background
• HIL testing
• MATLAB Simulink development

What you'll need to be successful :

• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.
• Engine control system familiarization (highly desired)
• AUTOSAR knowledge
• Hardware (sensors, ECUs, harnessing) - experience with wiring harness test (highly desired)
• Reading schematics and technical documentation
• Validation / Verification Test Plans of hardware and software features (required)
• Good communicator written and verbal
• An effective problem solver who is comfortable using analytical tools.
• Eager to learn; ask questions
• Self-motivated
• Self-manage and communicate what they are working on and issues discovered
