Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / IR Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and current ARRT, ACLS, and BLS certifications to work in a dual-role hybrid setting.
Responsibilities
Work in a short-term acute care hospital in a hybrid Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology unitDual-role position requiring competency in both Cath Lab and IR proceduresPatient population includes those requiring cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology proceduresCerner EMR is used and prior Cerner experience is requiredDay shifts with occasional 7 : 30-20 : 00 and standard 06 : 30-19 : 00 schedulesCall requirement of 10 shifts per month, with call back expectation of 3 hoursWeekend work required every third weekendFloating to hospital affiliates or within the hospital may be requiredFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyMust work either Christmas or New Year's; Thanksgiving is guaranteed offCandidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidaysReturn candidates must have a 12-month break from prior permanent or PRN work at this hospital before being eligibleFree parking is availableUp to 5 days of requested time off can be auto-approvedAll travelers should expect to float to affiliated hospitals or units as neededLocal candidates are acceptedBlock scheduling may be discussed with managementDress code and scrubs information will be provided during onboardingRequirements
