Meteorologist

METEOROLOGIST -

We are looking for a meteorologist at WFMJ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Youngstown, Ohio. This is full-time position at a family-owned station!  Being locally-owned (one of the very few!) has plenty of perks, including very fair compensation and excellent benefits. The cost of living in our area is quite low compared to many places and Youngstown has a lot to offer including one of the largest and best metropolitan parks in the country. We are also just an hour from Pittsburgh and Cleveland.  We have WSI Max with all the bells and whistles including Studio, Storm, Maximum Earth and Engage. We also have a network of live cameras that are a great tool.  This is a great opportunity for recent graduates and those in small to medium-small markets looking to take a big leap forward. If you have any MMJ experience and / or are willing to learn how to do some reporting a couple / few days a week, that is a big plus.
