Mental Health Therapist - Youth
We are currently accepting applications for a Full Time Therapist to work with our Youth Stride Program.
Stride is an after-school skills development program for children ages 5-12. The mission of the Stride Program is to provide useful strategies for children and their families who are experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral problems due to mental illness and emotional challenges.
The program provides a safe, structured, nurturing, challenging, and engaging environment where children can develop the necessary strategies to feel accepted, confident, and successful at home, school, and in the community.

Schedule : Monday-Friday 9 : 00 AM-6 : 00 PM

Compensation : $26.99 - $41.70 per hour / $56,000 - $86,000 annually (depending on experience)
Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency.
- Associate licensure base wage range : $26.99 - $27.93 per hour / $56,000 - $58,000 annually
- Full licensure base wage range : $32.92 - $41.70 per hour / $68,000 - $86,000 annually
Essential Functions : (Performs all or some of the following)
Provides direct and indirect clinical services, d evelops and supervises client treatment program, p erforms individual & family therapy and group outpatient psychotherapy.
Provides training and consultation services to individuals, families, and organizations. Attends and participates in family-team meetings.
Assists in the development of permanency plans for client and family. Performs intake assessments, d evelops support groups for assigned areas of specialization.
Performs various administrative functions related to client and program records, general case monitoring and management.
Maintains awareness of patient behaviors and reaction to medications. Coordinates with supervisors regarding issues and problems
Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduation from a college or university with a Master's degree in social work, psychology or a related field and :
- Fully Licensed Therapist recognition in the State of Utah as one of the following : Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- For Underfill : Associate Licensed Therapist recognition in the state of Utah as one of the following : Certified Social Worker (CSW), Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
