Responsibilities

• Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes related to technology and products.
• Conduct research using a wide variety of quantitative methods and a subset of qualitative methods, such as surveys.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify research topics and generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs.
• Conduct research using a wide variety of quantitative methods through the lens of user experience, human-computer interaction, and information science.
• Oversee and design the user experience component to generate actionable insights.
• Incorporate user experience design, data, research, and user-computer technologies to develop and enhance experiences of products.
• Conduct applied product research to understand users’ behaviors, motivations and attitudes on using the products.
• Define the user model and research how humans use technology products to meet user needs in technologically and technically feasible ways.
• Utilize understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistical concepts to design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes.
• Perform data analysis and communicate results and suggestions in compelling and creative ways.
• Review existing data and product designs to generate hypotheses and plans for high-impact research.
• Analyze user behavior data through channels such as statistics, user testing, interviews, observation, surveys, A / B testing and log analysis.
• Apply expertise in information science, UX design and human factors to brainstorm and create design objectives.
• Assess the user-interface or usability characteristics of Meta products for improvements.
• Design objects, studies, and environments to optimize human well-being and system performance, applying theory, principles, and data regarding the relationship between humans and computer technology.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing teams to complete projects.
• Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
