Logistics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator facilitates communication between production, project management, installers, vendors, and company drivers at an enterprise level to promote a healthy and efficient day-to-day logistics operations. Responsibilities :
- Coordinating inter-and intra-company transportation to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Creating and optimizing route schedules based on incoming orders
- Responding to internal inquiries, providing up to date tracking status for any product in transit
- Reviewing incoming delivery and shipping requests to ensure accuracy
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Providing feedback to Supply Chain Manager and participating in process improvement projects
Skills and qualifications :
- Exceptional attendance and reliability
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking, emails and other digital media
- Organization and time management skills
- Ability to use computers, software, and other technology
- Ability to provide supervisory guidance when appropriate
