Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – Opening this year!
When open in early 5, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and have access to high quality care in their community.
This full-service hospital will include beds (with the ability to expand to beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a -car garage and a helipad for emergency transport.
We are seeking a Telephone Operator (Full Time)
Our ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to patients, the public, and hospital staff that may need assistance with connecting to a specific department or person via telephone. The Telephone Operator is responsible for accurately transferring offsite and in-house calls, updating PBX directories, calling codes and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education/Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience as telephone or Contact Center operator preferred

- Able to speak and write English Fluently
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at a time
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective communications skills both verbal and written
- Basic computer and keyboard skills
- Demonstrates ability to understand process to reset and unlock user password accounts utilizing computer software.
