We are seeking a talented UX / UI Designer to join our team and help us create outstanding digital experiences that impact the entire state of Texas. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive, user-centered experiences and interfaces for responsive websites, applications, and other digital products. You'll collaborate with teams to define and design requirements, create wireframes, prototypes, and iterate on designs based on user feedback. Position Description
We are looking for someone who understands users' needs, desires, and behaviors. You think strategically when solving business objectives, advocating for user needs and know how to deliver value incrementally. You drive UX and UI design for new features, capabilities, and products, and are comfortable talking high-level needs with stakeholders, discussing functionality with developers, and sharing feedback / opinions with team members. You understand accessibility and deploy best practices at every stage. Design systems, user patterns, and documentation are your daily practices.

Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Web, User Experience or Comm Design, Information Studies or related. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis . Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Experience : 4 years of experience in user experience / user interface design or related design work. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
Licenses and Certifications : Valid driver's license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
