Seeking a Procurement Analyst for an open ended contract position with a client in the Global Technology industry in Downtown Norfolk!
This position is categorized as part-time (35 hours / week) and has a hybrid schedule.
Qualified candidates will have experience with Archer or another comparable procurement software platform (Ariba, ServiceNow, etc) and have experience with handling the compliance processes of onboarding and assuring vendor quality.
Candidates must be commutable to the Norfolk area, relocation cannot be considered.
There is potential for this position to convert to a full time / direct hire after the contract duration.
Description :
The procurement analyst is responsible for performing duties supporting sourcing activities for various projects and categories - will assist in the administration of the Vendor Assurance program and database, works closely with third party vendors and internal associates in Procurement, Global Security, Global Compliance, Global Privacy, Accounts Payable and various other stakeholders involved in the process.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for completing and reviewing risk reviews for a portfolio of vendors. This includes initiating, facilitating and resolving issues to complete a risk assessment that involves interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for updating database as well as educating Procurement and other internal associates on how to navigate and input information
- Review / analyze a variety of Purchasing system reports, prepare statistical data, and compile results
- Identify improvements in current reporting processes or systems and suggest new ideas to streamline and reduce non-value-added time / activities
- Provide functional and technical application support to ensure that the system continues to operate as per design specifications
- Assist and support the team in identifying and implementing process enhancements for program and database maintenance
- Performs other related duties as assigned
