Base pay range
$200.00 / hr - $220.00 / hr
Essential Qualifications
- PEO Experience Required : Extensive experience working with Professional Employer Organizations is mandatory
- Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance executive
- Strong background in financial cleanup and organizational assessment projects
- Experience with rapid assessment and implementation methodologies
Duration & Schedule
Project Duration : 30-60 days initial engagementTime Commitment : 8-16 hours per week initially (expected to decrease after 2 months)Location : Fully remote positionTravel : Occasional visits to Boston may be required (1-2 trips expected)Scope of Work
Phase 1 : Assessment & Cleanup (First 30-60 days)Conduct comprehensive financial assessment of current state
Clean up and reconcile existing financial recordsCatch up on outstanding financial processes and reportingIdentify gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance issuesDocument current financial systems and processesPhase 2 : Strategic PlanningDevelop clear roadmap from current state to desired future state
Recommend improvements to financial processes and controlsEstablish best practices for ongoing PEO financial managementCreate actionable implementation plan for long-term successRequired Experience
PEO Financial Management : Deep understanding of PEO financial structures, co-employment models, and compliance requirementsMulti-Client Environments : Experience managing finances across multiple client relationshipsRegulatory Compliance : Knowledge of employment law, tax compliance, and workers’ compensation in PEO contextsFinancial Systems : Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting systems commonly used in PEO environmentsDeliverables
