As Director Of Sox Compliance, you will lead the development and execution of Clario's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) strategy from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing
Develop, implement, and oversee Clario's SOX compliance strategy and programEstablish and maintain a comprehensive SOX framework aligned with regulatory requirements and best practicesPartner with Finance, IT, and business process owners to design and implement effective internal controlsDrive remediation plans for control deficiencies and monitor resolution progressCoordinate risk assessments to address evolving business processes and systemsProvide regular updates to executive leadership and the Audit CommitteeMaintain audit-ready documentation including control matrices, narratives, and testing resultsServe as primary liaison with external auditors for management testingBuild strong relationships across the organization to embed SOX ownershipRecruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing SOX compliance teamWhat We Look For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field12+ years of progressive experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, or risk managementAt least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and programsProven expertise in SOX 404, PCAOB standards, and COSO frameworkStrong proficiency in project management and cross-functional coordinationDemonstrated ability to influence and communicate across all levels, including executive leadershipCPA, CIA, or CISA designation strongly preferredExperience in public company environments; IPO readiness is a plusExposure to both Finance and IT control environmentsBased in or able to work from the United States (remote / hybrid / on-site)At Clario, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
