Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (food processing equipment experience desirable) Strong pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills; experience with PLC's and VFD's You have the ability to weld. You possess a strong work ethic and commitment to attendance. Able to perform duties independently or with minimal supervision while maintaining a high degree of integrity. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Possess good troubleshooting, print reading, and electrical skills. Valid driver's license. Must detail and familiarity with industrial equipment. Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes on the production line. Able to work in a warehouse with temperatures that can range from -10F to above-normal heat conditions. Work in an environment with light dust in the air, flashing lights, sirens, horns, and powered moving equipment operating in proximity Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to move or lift up to 50lbs. Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel. Ability to utilize hand / eye coordination. Communication skills. MBS is hiring Maintenance Technician in Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
- Comply with work, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while working indoors and / or outdoors.
