General Function :  Responsible for the maintenance of all production presses & equipment.

Job Duties :

• Responsible for identifying equipment problems and for repairing of equipment to the best of their ability in order to maintain production.
• Evaluate equipment problems and determine the most expedient short term and long term solutions.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functions of required tools and equipment.
• Maintains tools and / or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
• Determining work priorities collectively based on available information.
• Self-motivated to start and / or complete work orders, safety items & other projects as assigned.
• Electric safety inspection and repair of 110 / 220 / 480 volt.
• Welding and fabricating.
• All other duties assigned by Manager and Team Leader.

Working Conditions :   Plant environment; working in and out of presses, in press pits, high lift and working on a ladder.

Capable of working off the ground with height variances as well as working in confined spaces.

Physical Component(s) :   Standing and walking up to 100% of work time; pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and some stooping.

Education / Experience :   High school diploma and must be willing to continue education in the maintenance field; electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, electrical arc flash, schematics, blueprint, etc. training and classes. Knowledgeable and capable of working with basic electric 110 / 220 / 480 volt. Basic welding and fabrication needed.
