Job Description
We are in search of a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional patient care with PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) lines and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of nursing care.
Responsibilities :
- PICC Line Insertion : Proficiently insert, maintain, and remove PICC lines, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Patient Assessment : Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their unique needs and creating individualized care plans.
- IV Therapy : Administer intravenous medications, fluids, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
- Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Education : Provide education to patients and their families about PICC lines, their care, and potential complications, fostering patient empowerment and understanding.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Infection Control : Strictly adhere to infection control protocols to minimize the risk of infection associated with PICC lines.
- Quality Improvement : Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices in PICC line care.
- Travel : Assist at different Clinics, Nursing Homes and Hospitals when needed.

Requirements :
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license within State of practice.
- Certification in PICC line insertion required.
- Maintain current BLS.
- Two (2) plus years of nursing experience, with a focus on vascular access and IV therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
