Leadership Development And Programs Coordinator

Facilitate student leadership development by marketing and enacting effective programming for the Mosaic Intercultural Center. Convene, facilitate and assess Mosaic's institutionalized programming which may include leadership retreats, Welcome Back events, the Mosaic Awards Banquet, and other regular Mosaic programming. Maintain relationships with and develop leadership capacity among student leaders at the University of Vermont, specifically within student organizations that are affiliated with the Mosaic Intercultural Center. Advise and mentor student leaders, execute collaborative programming with clubs, and convene retreats / trainings for student leaders. Hire and train student staff to act as Mosaic Intercultural Center Ambassadors to work directly with affiliated student organizations.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) :

• BA degree and one to three years of related programming experience (e.g. participation in student organizations).
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrated awareness and connection to issues of inclusive excellence.
• Strong relationship builder with and mentor to student leaders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to effectively perform duties within a deadline-driven environment with frequently changing student needs.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications :

Anticipated Pay Range : 50,000-54,000
