We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our Assistant Account Manager - Amazon Global .

Position Summary :

Reporting to the Global eCommerce Sales Team Manager, the Assistant Account Manager - Amazon Global , is tasked with the responsibility of expanding the eCommerce business across the United States, Canada, and international markets, with a primary focus on Amazon as the key account.

To achieve this objective, the position will utilize technology, marketing strategies, eCommerce partnerships, and various creative and innovative media approaches.

Collaboration with the marketing, trade marketing, sales planning, and logistics teams is crucial to enhance brand sales and visibility on the Amazon platform.

Ultimately, the aim of this role is to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers on Amazon, drive increased household penetration through experimentation and learning, coordinate and execute promotions during strategic periods, introduce innovative initiatives, and contribute to the opening of new markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyzing weekly, monthly POS sales data to determine the performance of products and promotions.
  • Leveraging data and insights to optimize product placement, pricing strategies, and inventory levels.
  • Introducing new products and maintain / optimize existing product listings.
  • Ensuring accurate product details, including pricing, descriptions, images, video, variations, buy box, ratings, and offers.
  • Developing and implementing on site merchandising strategies to maximize sales for assigned portfolio.
  • Collaborating with consumer experience and regulatory teams to address product-related queries.
  • Other duties as required or assigned by Manager.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, digital merchandising, business, advertising, PR, digital retail, retail merchandising, project management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central (primary) and Vendor Central (secondary).
  • Experience in CPG or related industries.
  • Exceptional project management, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to work out of multiple technology tools and systems simultaneously.
  • Preferred to be in the Chicago market.

Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrable success in eCommerce and at creatively solving problems and implementing those solutions.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and projects with competing deadlines concurrently.
  • Ability to drive towards a larger big picture vision while managing the details.
  • Ability to be ADAPTABLE and flexible to a changing environment.
  • Understanding of latest and most effective SEO / SEM tactics and analytics
  • Understanding of Amazon digital analytics and consumer insights
  • Knowledge of content management systems such as Salsify, eCommerce platforms, Profitero, Tableau, MS Office suite
  • Strong TEAM player
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style based on the audience.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and professional way, both written and verbal

  • Intermediate understanding of business financials.
