Job Title : Embedded Software Engineer
Location : Grand Prairie, TX
Secret Clearance Required
The integrated air and missile defense program area is looking for an embedded software engineer to work on the flight software program for the guidance electronics portion of the missile.
The candidate should be proficient in Embedded programming in C / C++, Real Time operating environments and embedded I / O integration.
The candidate must be comfortable working within a collaborative and agile environment.
Required Qualifications :
- Must have an active DOD secret security clearance
- Experience with embedded software development
- Experience with real-time operating environments
- Strong experience with C / C++ with a focus on modern C++ features; C++11 experience preferred
- Experience working with Linux distributions; CentOS / RHEL 7 or higher experience is preferred
- Must have a growth mindset with a strong ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced collaborative environment
- Willing to work in a closed area on-site full-time
Desired Qualifications :
- Experience with embedding I / O integration
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, Git, GitLab CI, and automated testing
- Experience with Unit testing
- Experience with software design, architecture, and documentation
