Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details :

  • Work day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Weekend requirements apply
  • On-call requirement of 10-12 days per month, including a weekend
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians
  • Provide patient care while obtaining diagnostic quality images for radiologist / cardiologist interpretation
  • Must have interventional radiology lab experience
  • Required certifications : ARRT and New Mexico State licensure, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI or VI), or RCIS Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited radiologic technology program required
  • One year radiologic experience required and one year interventional or cath lab experience preferred
  • Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, positioning, and medical terminology
  • Ability to lift, position, push and / or transfer patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs
  • Work in environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens, body fluids, and ionizing radiation
  • Flexible schedule due to unexpected changes and emergencies

    This regional medical center operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular services. The facility maintains a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment and offers specialized cardiac and vascular intervention procedures. The catheterization lab is equipped with state-of-the-art radiographic equipment and provides critical cardiovascular care to the community with experienced medical staff and advanced technology.
