As we continue to expand our reach and impact, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sponsorship and Booth Sales Specialist for our future conferences including AI User Conference, our main event.

Position Summary

The Sponsorship and Booth Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing sponsorship opportunities and booth sales for our Conferences.

This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of the AI industry, and a proven track record of sales success.

Sponsorship Sales Specialist Essential Duties & Responsibilities are :

  • Proactively reach out to identified potential partners and schedule calls or arrange in-person meetings to explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Develop and implement new prospecting campaigns weekly on our sales engagement platform to expand our reach and generate leads.
  • Attend industry events in San Francisco to network and identify new sponsorship and booth sales opportunities.
  • Regularly share engaging content on LinkedIn using curated material provided by the AI User Group to enhance brand visibility and attract potential sponsors and exhibitors.
  • Ensure presence at each event to foster relationships with existing sponsors and participants, providing personalized attention and support.
  • Craft persuasive sales proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the unique value proposition of sponsoring or exhibiting at our conferences.
  • Engage in negotiation processes for sponsorship agreements and contracts, striving to secure favorable terms and conditions for all parties involved.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, gaining insights into their business objectives and customizing sponsorship and booth packages to align with their needs.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to continuously optimize the sponsorship and booth sales process.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to sponsors and exhibitors, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the conference planning process and providing onsite support during the event.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports to assess progress against targets and guide future sales strategies.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) :

  • Proven track record of success in sponsorship sales, exhibit sales, or B2B sales, preferably within the events or technology industry, with 3-4 years of experience in sponsorship sales
  • Strong understanding of the AI ecosystem, including key players, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Suite, and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
