Hospital is seeking a locum to perm Psychiatrist for their Adult Inpatient Unit starting in September!

SCHEDULE :

Monday- Friday, 8 : 00am- 4 : 30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION :

The unit we would be brining a locum to is our general adult behavioral health unit= 30 beds split between 2 physicians (15ppd per provider)

63 beds

On the inpatient side, there are 4 inpatient physicians (and the 1 opening)

The outpatient side at full staffing will be 5 physicians and 3 APPs

EMR : EPIC

Safety / Security Measures : 24 / 7 security guards at hospital. all staff attend codes.

The only time a psychiatrist would see a child is in the crisis unit (only when on weekend call), the child is then evaluated and transferred to an adolescent facility (if admitted).

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS :

Board Certified - Required

ACLS - Required

NY License at the time of submission - Required

Clean background due to quick credentialing - Required
