What you’ll tackle
Engineer methods, tooling, and techniques to reduce setup, changeovers, and operator effort.Implement cycle-time reduction strategies in constrained manufacturing cells.Troubleshoot machining processes and PLC programs (Siemens & Allen‑Bradley).Modify manufacturing processes for safety, quality, cost improvements, and design changes.Own budgets and schedules tied to projects; manage expenditures to targets.Lead capital projects : write equipment specs, oversee runoffs, drive installation, coordinate contractors.Keep equipment drawings and production layouts accurate and current.Create durable fixes for recurring equipment / process failures.Provide focused training to elevate departmental capability.Coordinate TPM / PM along with proactive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.Co-own PFMEA, control plans, and process flows with the Quality Engineer.Support the shop floor with structured problem-solving and clear standard work.Partner across teams and levels to improve machinery and processes.Facilitate Kaizen events and document outcomes for sustainability.Apply awareness of environmental aspects and operational controls in daily decisions.What sets you up for successMust-have
2+ years in high-volume machining, assembly, and automation.Practical Lean Enterprise experience.Nice-to-have
Excellent people, organization, and communication skills.Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.Comfort with MS Word / Excel and systems such as MfgPro and Kronos.Grow with us
