Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Creates and ensures a flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
  • Inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical defects and failures in various equipment regularly.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Communicate any needs or problems relating to maintenance or repair of equipment with the Manager.
  • Set up and modify new equipment as needed.
  • Keeps maintenance equipment oiled, and, inspected; performs related tasks as required.
  • Helps ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Laws and OSHA Regulations.
  • Attend all safety and / or OSHA training sessions as required.
  • Responsible for accurate and efficient operation of procedures within designated departments.
  • Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team members and guest relations.
  • Always maintain professionalism when working with other team members and / or guests.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Five (5) years of experience with diesel engines, gas engines, and heavy equipment.
  • A valid driver's License is required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the background check.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Must be proficient in operation of equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
  • Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Must be able to lift and / or carry, fifty (50) pounds without difficulty.
  • Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp as needed.
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather elements as necessary.
  • Must be able to remain flexible in an environment of constant change.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work, and, effectively communicate with co-workers and management is mandatory.
