Job Overview

Automotive General Service Technician - 2423 at Precision Tune Auto Care in Gulfport, MS. Full-time position.

Base pay and compensation

Base pay range : $12.00 / hr - $20.00 / hr . Pay is based on experience and skills; discuss details with the recruiter.

Responsibilities

Automotive technician duties include diagnosing and performing repairs on vehicle components (e.g., brakes, emissions / exhaust, A / C, suspension, electrical, etc.). You will also need to explain mechanical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (teammates and customers) and continuously improve your technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• General Service Tech – minimum of 1 year automotive technician / repair experience
• Must have valid driver's license
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, delivering quality work
• Ability to work a flexible 5-day schedule including Saturdays
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Be able to pass a background check
• Have own tools
