Patient Registration Clerk

Job Duties :

• Greet patients, check-in process, ensuring all required documentation is on file.
• Set up patient portal access.
• Answer phones.
• Complete insurance verification; discuss coverage / out of pocket costs.
• Collect and post payments.
• Maintain and balance cash drawer.
• Check patient balance; review any payment plans.
• Process sliding fee discount applications.
• Schedule patient follow up appointments.
• Keep Provider schedules updated throughout the day.
• Ensure no-shows visits are contacted to reschedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications / Skills :

Employment Type : Full Time, Monday through Friday.

Starting Salary Range : $12.60 – $17.96 per hour; up to 3% annual increases.
