Marine Equipment Mechanic
Seeking a Heavy Equipment / Crane Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Ft. Myers, FL. This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! Pay is between $32 - $42 per hour (based on experience) As a Heavy Equipment / Crane Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our extensive fleet of marine commercial construction equipment.
Responsibilities : Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment, with a focus on cranes and other specialized machinery.
Conducting regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and address mechanical issues promptly. Documenting all maintenance and repair activities accurately, including parts orders and service records.
Collaborating with management to prioritize and schedule equipment services and repairs to minimize downtime. Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times. Qualifications : 10+ years of experience working with heavy construction equipment, preferably with specific experience in crane maintenance.
Proficiency in performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with management and colleagues.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
