Job Opportunity : Youth Program Manager at San Diego Youth Services

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of youth programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
  • Manage a team of program coordinators and frontline staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve program objectives.
  • Develop and monitor program budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
  • Collaborate with community partners, stakeholders, and government agencies to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure program impact, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and professional development opportunities to staff, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Represent company at meetings, conferences, and events to promote the organization's mission, build relationships, and advocate for youth issues.

Minimum Background Requirements :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, psychology, education, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in youth services, program management, or a related role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
  • Knowledge of grant writing, fundraising, and budget management preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid CA driver’s license, reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and clean driving record required.
