Overview
Regional Vice President, Mid Market at Docusign. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve revenue growth by expanding current Docusign customer spend. Collaborate on territory strategy, account planning, and provide feedback using tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, and conversational intelligence. Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts and quota attainment. This is a people manager role reporting to the Area Vice President, Mid Market.
Responsibilities
Manage a sales team to grow Docusign’s baseline revenue within existing accounts
Assess pipeline generation, revenue-generating activities, pipeline health and quarterly sales forecasts to determine progress and areas for improvement
Coach AEs on sales skills, forecasting, planning, prospecting, pipeline generation, complex negotiations, cross-functional collaboration, and CRM / reporting accuracy
Manage team performance, build a qualified talent bench, and grow headcount as needed
Develop strategies with AEs to penetrate accounts and deliver value at enterprise scale
Maintain proactive communication with lines of business and senior leadership, including delivering forecast and attainment details during reviews
Identify training opportunities and career growth for team members
Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
Travel 20% or more as needed
Qualifications
Basic : 5+ years of experience selling software in a quota-carrying role; BA / BS from an accredited college or university
Preferred : 5+ years of leadership experience managing software sales teams (SaaS preferred); 8+ years in software sales; proven quota attainment and account / territory planning experience; ability to hire, coach, and enable a growing team; prior experience selling eSignature or CLM solutions; ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
