Pay Rate : $18–$25 per hour
Shift & Schedule : Time Zone : Central
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week)
Breaks : One 30-minute break daily
Hours of Operation : 6 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM
Flexibility : Must be available to cover various shift times; weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
Job Summary :
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR I) represents the face of the organization to patients who visit for routine health screenings or life-impacting diagnostic insights. The PSR I draws high-quality blood samples, prepares specimens for laboratory testing, and ensures each patient experience is handled with professionalism, accuracy, and compassion .
Under the direction of the Area Supervisor, this individual performs daily activities efficiently and accurately while maintaining safety and confidentiality. The role emphasizes leadership, process excellence, and patient trust in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform daily collection activities accurately and on schedule under supervisor guidance.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment that promotes patient confidence.
Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection following established practices and procedures.
Accurately maintain required documentation and records.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive, professional image to patients, clients, and colleagues.
Deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment with minimal on-site supervision.
Exhibit excellent phlebotomy skills , including pediatric and geriatric specimen collection.
Remain flexible to meet staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Support process improvements to ensure compliance and consistent quality of patient services.
Required Education & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
Minimum of 6 months of experience in phlebotomy; 1+ years preferred.
Customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or related field.
Strong keyboard / data entry skills and attention to detail.
