About The Position

• Work Settings; Neuro Stepdown, Telemetry
• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response; Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Gastrointestinal / Genitourinary / Renal; Feeding tube care and management, Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure
• IV Therapy / Phlebotomy; Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, Peripheral Line Care / Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs
• Medications; Heparin Protocols, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips
• Neurological / Psychiatric; CVA, Pre / Post neurosurgery, Traumatic Brain injury
• Orthopedics / Plastics; Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains
• Respiratory / Thoracic; External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management
