Innovation Program Associate, VBU Technology Team

Position Overview
The Innovation Program Associate is an early-career role supporting the identification and execution of high-impact innovation initiatives across the VBU Technology Team. Working closely with the Director of Innovation Strategy and Implementation and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across VBU, EBU, and CSG, this role provides hands-on exposure to emerging technologies and strategic focus areas such as Robotics, Energy Systems, and Autonomous & Drone Platforms , as well as other advanced applications that advance ADI’s 3.0 ambitions.
This position is well-suited for a motivated, analytically strong individual with a master’s degree who is eager to learn, grow, and build experience in technology strategy, program management, and cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of innovation programs within the VBU Technology Team, with emphasis on Robotics, Energy, and Drone-related initiatives , as well as adjacent emerging technology areas.
Conduct research and analysis on technology trends, market dynamics, and application-level use cases relevant to these focus areas.
Assist in coordinating cross-functional teams to track milestones, risks, and dependencies across active innovation initiatives.
Prepare clear, concise materials (briefings, presentations, summaries) for internal stakeholders and governance forums such as the Technology Strategy Board.
Help identify and assess potential external partnerships (e.g., customers, universities, startups, or national labs) that could accelerate learning, prototyping, or time to market.
Contribute to alignment across multiple business units by facilitating communication, documenting insights, and sharing best practices.
Support the adoption and use of enterprise AI and digital tools to improve project tracking, portfolio visibility, and execution effectiveness.
Desired Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical and strategic information into clear takeaways.

Required Qualifications
M.S. in engineering, science, policy, or a related technical or analytical field.
0–3 years of relevant experience (internships, research, consulting, or early-career roles in technology, strategy, program support, or applied research).
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional environment.
