Job descriptionStack bagged grain Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks Make periodic inspections of all stored grain Make inspections of stored grain as requested by Feed Mill Supervisor Be familiar with manufacturing processes and procedures Ensure floor organization and plant cleanliness Ensure floor stocking levels are met Assist or fill in for machine operators when necessary Greet customers promptly and courteously with a friendly smile, say hello, and thank them for their business Assist customers with unloading and loading of feed Answer phone in a prompt and courteous manner, as necessary Attend meetings as requested Uphold all cooperative policies and procedures Perform other tasks and duties as requested by the Mill Supervisor , Feed Mill Manager, or Director of Operations This position does not have supervisory responsibilities High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or One to three months related experience and / or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Attentiveness Attention to detail Good judgment Ability to work as part of a team Sense of urgency towards production Ability to react to change Ability to work in confined work environment for long periods Strong communication skills

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
To manufacture and produce quality feed products as directed, through established procedures and approved processes; handle incoming, binned, and outgoing grain.
