GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
To manufacture and produce quality feed products as directed, through established procedures and approved processes; handle incoming, binned, and outgoing grain.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Stack bagged grainLoad and unload inbound and outbound trucksMake periodic inspections of all stored grainMake inspections of stored grain as requested by Feed Mill SupervisorBe familiar with manufacturing processes and proceduresEnsure floor organization and plant cleanlinessEnsure floor stocking levels are metAssist or fill in for machine operators when necessaryGreet customers promptly and courteously with a friendly smile, say hello, and thank them for their businessAssist customers with unloading and loading of feedAnswer phone in a prompt and courteous manner, as necessaryAttend meetings as requestedUphold all cooperative policies and proceduresPerform other tasks and duties as requested by the Mill Supervisor , Feed Mill Manager, or Director of OperationsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilitiesEDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); orOne to three months related experience and / or training; orEquivalent combination of education and experienceLANGUAGE SKILLS
