Field Service Technician

Full Time Field Service Technician – Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan NY

Job Summary

Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Full Time Field Service Technician. You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (Eco-ATM, Pokémon).

The territory consists of 70+ stores and number of hours per week is around 40. This is an hourly plus commission route with an estimated pay of $65k per year (approx. $30 an hour). Company car will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.

Essential Job Functions

Employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, immediately reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.

Work Environment : Sales / Service Environment varies due to location / store set-up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily. May have to drive 200 miles daily. Hand / eye coordination required. Function vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands : Sales / Service Medium, lifting up to 30 lbs., occasionally pushing / pulling up to 100 lbs.
